What are some of your favorite soundtracks and scores?

I personally like the soundtrack to Resevoir Dogs better than the movie.

As for scores, I'm a fan of Henry Mancini's "Moon River" and the score to Braveheart.

All the John Williams Star Wars scores are awesome.

Fifth Element Soundtrack is UNSTOPPABLE IMHO.
Return of the Living Dead - Great Goth Punk.
The first two Hellraiser Scores. And the one done by Coil if you can find it!
Until the End of the World Sndtrk.

There's probably more but I can't think of more right now.

Ditto on The Fifth Element, and Eric Serra's work in general.

I've got it on the iPod at all times.

I also like The Fifth Element's sound track, but it was sadly missing the cab chase music. I was able to download it, but I would never be able to remember the name of the song off hand. (I can try to find the name if anyone is interested.)

Wong Kar-Wai films always have great soundtracks.
Apocalypse Now
The Godfather
The Man With No Name trilogy

Here's my list of Indelible Scores & Soundtracks. The kind that get stuck in your head forever.

I don't usually buy that many American soundtracks or scores, but I do own LAST OF THE MOHICANS, THE BREAKFAST CLUB, OCEAN'S 11, OUT OF SIGHT, THE FULL MONTY, GROSS POINT BLANKE, and all the Tarantino's through Jacking Brown.

I have a bunch of anime scores (called BGM's - BackGround Music) that I picked up in college. I listen to AKIRA and URUSEI YATSURA Movie 2 all the time.

I think I'm going to slurge this weekend and order both VERTIGO discs off Amazon this weekend. I've been debating about doing so for a while.

Valley Girl, Urban Cowboy, Good Will Hunting, the list goes on. It's amazing whoever pics the songs in a movie...almost always they have nailed it. Great Topic Natialiology!

Yeah, they usually nail it when it comes to encompassing the mood or tone of a movie. I listen to an encyclopedic range of music and usually I let my mood dictate which songs I listen to any given time.

Another good one is from the movie "Singles".

SINGLES....forgot I had that one...it's what got me hooked on Paul Westerberg...

I had to buy the Kill Bill sound track right after the movie. Saw a few other people from my showing of the movie at the record store too which was pretty funny. I also have the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, 'cause I was on a Tarantino kick at the time, and it's got a great soundtrack as well.

I also have the Fantasia soundtrack, which is suprisingly good driving music :]
