Hey! Cool find! That was excellent, it opens with Amanda Bearse in Fright Night, plus I really like that Bush song.

Hands down , cliche though it may be , Excorsist..
Its been plenty copied since, but if you havent seen the directors cut with Linda walking down the stairs like a spider, then you havent fully seen it.
I must have seen a thousand horror flix, but this one still gives me chills.

I have to second Evil Dead, 1&2 , even though there is comedy in it, it HAS to have a release or my God it might kill you. Watch any or all 3 alone, in the middle of the day if you want. I dare you!

Return of the Living Dead kinda freaked me out as a teen , but all it really did is get me into zombie movies!

I know...I took a group of my friends to see it when we were on vacation. The one is a bit sensitive....scared her to death! One of the other friends spent the whole night up with her....

Shock Waves - IMDb - NetFlix (NetFlix doesn't have this - SAVE!)

It's been so long, since I've seen this, that I can't remember exactly what was so scary about it, but I still remember being scared. I mean, what's not scary, about Nazi zombies, that can walk on the ocean floor?

The Fog (1980)

I remember this one scaring the begezers out of me too. After watching this, I had to go into our basement, to switch over the laundry, and we only had an outside bulkhead, to get into the basement. Man, did I run. Didn't help, that it was foggy that night.

That's one of the reasons why Shock Waves really threw me for a loop when I was young and saw it. Up until viewing this film, I always thought zombies couldn't go in the water. These Nazi zombies had no problem getting around in water and that totally freaked me out! Amphibian zombies are definitely a larger threat in my mind. lol

Hehe.. Definately!

I think of Shock Waves, every time I see Pirates of the Caribbean, with that group of dead pirates, walking along the sea floor.

I have shock waves sitting in my saved queue but I dont think netflix is ever gonna get it, btw , I want to see Motel Hell BAD as I never have. It freaked my gf out pretty bad when she was a kid, but I dont think NF is gonna get this classic either.

Give them time, Motel Hell has not been released yet but Shock Waves has. Shock Waves may end up getting another release eventually. I bought that on dvd like five years ago but poor Motel Hell has been sitting in release to dvd limbo for years. It's time is coming soon I believe as I've heard release rumblings for this, especially since there's also been talk of a remake for Motel Hell.

Ive seen people trying to sell it on ebay for as much as $70! lol
Then again I've seen it for like $10 too. I should just buy it already.
A remake would be very cool!

Tales of two sisters actually made me 'yeep' when I was watching it, made me sound like a complete wuss
The original Nightmare on Elm Street, freddy wasn't 'funny' in this one
The original Shutter, oh the ending... I had a complete 'heeebity heeebity aaaaaaaa' moment at the end.
It may just be remember how much it originally scared me.. but Poltergeist still frightens me when I watch it
Descent is a recent one that scared me when I watched it
Session 9 - the first time I caught it
I remember being surprised how much Wait Until Dark scared me when I saw it..

I can't think of any more right now..
