A Netflix Community

List movies that you enjoy that few other people have seen. The rule is that fewer than 10,000 ratings have been given for each film on the Netflix site (this is listed below the star rating on each movie's page). Here are two that I enjoyed to start us off:

Kirikou and the Sorceress
Ivan's Childhood

I really liked Tears of the Black Tiger. Apparently it's available on "Watch Instantly" now, but it's probably best to watch all of those pretty colors on a big screen...

Honestly, I'm kind of shocked that Django and Wild Zero have less than 10,000 ratings. And The Cat only has 564 ratings! For shame, people! For shame...

There are probably more, but that's all that I bothered to check on.

A New Kind of Love- A silly Paul Newman, and Joanne Woodward comedy that I just adore
Undercurrent- a noir with Hepburn, Robert Taylor, and Robert Mitchum.. I fell in love with Mitchum in this movie, you never see him play such a sensitive character again
Inner Senses- creepy and fun, the first japanese horror that I fell in love with
So Proudly We Hail!- an almost all woman WWII film, awesome
Smothered - I love the Smothers Brothers
The Slanted Screen- Interesting and educational take on the Asian male experience in cinema

I think "Inner Senses" is a movie from Hong Kong. Unless we're talking about another movie with the same name.

my bad :)

You are absolutely correct.

Leslie Cheung starred in that movie. He killed himself after it(on matters speculated to be unrelated).

Yup, it actually opened the door for me to watching many of his other movies.

That movie looks absolutely wonderful ... Queued !!!

Leslie Cheung was great as was Zhang Fengyi and Gong Li (Li Gong) in Farewell My Concubine.

2046 is a movie that I have always wanted to see.

2046 is the third part of a trilogy but each movie can be seen and enjoyed with having seen the others. The best of the three, in my opinion, is In The Mood For Love which is the second of the three. The first is Days Of Being Wild, my least favorite of the three but I liked it too.

Are they all following the same characters? or character?
The trailer looks absolutely stunning and the twisted thriller aspect of 2046 is like candy.... so appealing...mmmm

I will watch them all... I have a thing about watching series or "ilogies" in order. I think they are better that way.
