What do you think is the worst movie ever made and/or which one do you passionately despise the most?

The worst that I've ever seen is definitely Plan 9 from Outer Space, but I knew that it was supposed to be terrible going in. Bloodrayne is the movie that I talk bad about the most though, since I had never experienced an Uwe Boll masterpiece before.

Boogieman. Saw it at the theatre. It's supposed to be a horror flick and the scariest part was when a bird hits a car windshield (just sort of startled us for a split second). All around retarded movie.

I think I may have watched part of the worst movie ever last night. It's called The Dress and is a supposed comedy from the Netherlands. There's a couple of attempted rapes, several fistfights, a little racism and a death or two. I probably watched an hour of it, but when the teenaged girl was trapped in her home with the guy who had already tried to rape her once, I turned it off. I don't watch slasher films and this was turning into one.

If you haven't seen Farrah Fawcett and Jeff Bridges in "See you in the Morning," you should. It's terrifically pablum-over-the-top ridiculous and bad in every way bad. Also hideous is "Indecent Proposal." "Plan 9 From Outer Space": when it's good it's very, very good, and when it's bad it's horrid.

I am going to add to my list:
-Gosford Park. Took too long to get to the point.
-Punch Drunk Love. Whaaaaat?

Gosford Park was directed by Robert Altman, who was one of the strongest and most original (although uneven) directors that the US has ever produced. He worked from the 60s through to 00s so he's not going to be as likely to have the flashy pace of more current and younger directors. If you watch it with the idea of society's class structure in mind instead of the murder mystery it's "supposed" to be about, you'll see that it gets right to the point in actuality.

As for Punch Drunk Love, confusing = "worst movie you've ever seen" will lead to missing out on some of cinema's greatest achievements. PT Anderson has an in your face style that can take getting used to but he's a breath of fresh air in an otherwise cookie cutter modern Hollywood.

I know this is all subjective, so I'm just putting these above comments out there to read or ignore.
