Everyone that acts on it and the show itself wins year after year. I thought the Tina Fey Years were the worst for SNL.
It doesn't look the least bit interesting ... the couple times I found myself turning the channels and stopping to see how it was ... I didn't like it ..

Does anybody actually watch this show?

i hear that it gets very low viewership ... but they keep it on the air.

It just won like all the golden globes it was up for... I don't get it ?

It's the only show I watch every week on tv plus I watch the episodes on my Roku quite regularly. I think this is one of the best shows to come on tv in a few years. Although I thought the one with the cast from Night Court was a bit lame but for the most part I love the show.

While it's ratings aren't super high, NBC keeps it on because it wins ton's of awards, critical acclaim and hits the young viewer sweat spot.

Plus Alec Balwin is awesome, I can't believe they got him on the show, but it seems he has strong connections to SNL and Tiny Fey. Tiny Fey really had a big year when Palin fell into her lap and got 30 Rock and SNL more attention then ever. She may be on the way to being the new Lucy.

I don't think that you can compare it to Weeds. Weeds is the best series on TV and it should've won a golden globe. I don't like 30 Rock neither.

Um, yeah, thems fighting words, dude. The best series on TV is The Simpsons.

But besides that HELL to the NO is Weeds better than 30 Rock.

Since when is Weeds a sitcom? Yeah, it's comically ludicrous in how unrealistic it is, but that's by design not genre.

Two completely different shows and shouldn't really be compared to one another, in my opinion.

Alec Baldwin...That's why I watch it.

Really, though, it's a smarter kind of funny, though it's still wacky & completely out there. No one on the show's got their head screwed on right, even if Tina Fey's character is the least insane one of the entire bunch. It's got kind of the same appeal as "Seinfeld," as in no one on the show is someone we want to know in real life deep down, because they're either jerks or annoying or completely bonkers, but we love them from afar. They're not realistic characters, they're more like...huge exaggerations of real people.

And SNL has sucked since around when she came on the show, but that's not Tina Fey's fault solely, and also, sketch comedy & a full 22-minute show with a consistent plot are two completely different things to write for.

I, too, was not a Tina Fey fan when she was on SNL. But I have to defend 30Rock. It is the writing and ensemble cast that make this show a real winner. It helps to watch it from the beginning. If I started midway through, I would be lost as well. Baldwin proves that his Schwetty balls weren't a fluke.

I am also a huge fan of Weeds, for many of the same reasons.
