Netflix Movie Fans

I dont know about you guys but i love my Netflix. I was thinking the other day how i get 100s of movies, Tv shows and Documentary's at the tip of my fingers for what like 9 bucks. That is pretty awsome and i would gladly pay extra if the netflix company made every move and show new and old on there site Instant que. I dont know if the CEO'S of netflix reviews this but i figuerd it wouldent hurt to give it a try. So yea who is with me!! :)

How much extra would you be willing to pay? $50/month? $100?
Let's say you charge a extra 20$ a month so it would be 29.99 a month. If that meant i could get all the movies on Instant que I would happily pay that amount and maybe more. Its cheaper then cable and you have so much more options on what you can play and watch.
You won't get it all for an extra $20. An extra $120 maybe, but not $20.
The biggest thing holding studios back from making titles available to Watch Instantly is licensing. A studio will be loathe to make a title available for WI if they are still making money off of DVD / Blu-Ray sales for that title.

To that end, the only way around it with things the way they currently are would be for the studio to obtain an equal profit from WI as from DVD, and that would cost a fortune for Netflix to achieve. Netflix has always been about a large catalog and low prices, I don't think they would purchase a ton of WI movies if they would be forced to jack up membership fees.

As always, patience is a virtue. My suggestion to you is to peruse the backlog, there are tens of thousands of great WI movies available. In fact, there's a group right here on these forums dedicated to finding the hidden gems in WI. Check that group out!

fake edit: Every time I typed "studio" I accidentally typed "stupid" first. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!
Studios make too much money on release windows to do this. Why give up the up to 90% a film makes opening week in theaters with around 25% or profits after that, then the DVD sales, then the selling it to HBO/Showtime, then the selling of it to Starz/Cinemax, then the selling of it to cable channels, then the selling of it to the networks, then the selling of it to streaming companies?

The studios are really selling their single move 8-9 times or even more in some cases. It makes no sense for them to agree to only selling it to one company if it is not going to make them money. Netflix does not have the money to give to the studios that it would cost to make it worth their while. It is really that simple.
