I keep a list on my PDA and every once in a while I check to see if they have been released:
* WW & the Dixie Dancekings
* The Keep
* Until the End of the World <--- Available for rental/digital download at Amazon * The Car<--- Now on DVD * Last Holiday (1950 with Alec Guinness)<--- Now on DVD * Conrack <--- Currently available on Watch Instantly
Some of those are crap, some are a little obscure and even available in different regions, but the last two should qualify for the AFI Top 100 in my opinion!
Until the End of the World is available for $2.99 rental or $9.99 digital download at Amazon. Looks like only the "online viewing" option is widescreen.
I want different region DVDs made available and different langauge audio and subtitle tracks. I've been renting movies for my mother thinking Netflix would make the difficult task of seeing Chinese movies less. But 2046 is a Chinese movie with multiple languages spoken with no Chinese subtitles and "The Last Emperor" only comes in English. It's so hard to find, Netflix would be my best friend if they offered foreign language versions of movies.

That's not going to happen. Technically, non R1 DVDs are not supposed to be available for viewing in R1. Not too mention that it makes little economic sense for Netflix to start carrying non-R1 DVDs. They're significantly more expensive and are also a very small niche market
