Anybody else having this problem? I am CONTINUALLY receiving Dark Shadows series discs damaged and Unplayable!!! Talk about frustrating!! :( Even the Replacement discs they send have been damaged! That happened 5 times in a row!!!!! At this rate, I wont be able to finish watching the series. If I would have known this, I would have just bought the series. Netflix, get it together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every disc I have received in the past month has been damaged!!!!!! I`m getting ready to cancel my membership.

Take a "peek" at the top right corner... :) There's a little box that says "Search Social Network"...
If you try typing in words that describe your problem... Oh say "Damaged Discs", you will get 9 pages of posts that people have made on this same topic, all without having to start another topic.
This subject is tired and old, and other then us repeatedly telling folks how to clean off the DVD's, or to check their players (Cause yes, 2 out of 5 times it IS your player), or how to call Netflix cause we are not them, so cant really help you out...
Seee??? So how does telling "We who have nothing to do with Netflix" that you are going to cancel, help out with your problem?

gee, whaty a friendly group u are. but thanks for your info. I Know what the agent said; I`m just trying to find others with the same problem with THIS particular series. (And yes, its true` lol). Has NOTHING to do with cleaning these discs, as I always do that anyway, but the ones I`m getting are Visibly Cracked and unplayable. Yeah, it gets really frusterating when you get the replacements and they`re also damaged...not one or two, but Five in a row. BTW, I`ve never recieved a cracked or damaged disc other than the Dark Shadows series. All other discs are in fine condition, so it seems it is something with this particular series. Thanks...

A general rule of thumb concerning a person's actual IQ is that it is their own perceived IQ divided by the average number of exclamation points they feel they need to use in trying to get their point across.
You need to let your post office know that they are manhandling your discs. Surely you don't think Netflix is breaking them and then sending them to you do you?
Don`t think the damage happened in transit since it just looks like its worn from excesive use. The Netflix hub in my city is lacking in their inspection team dept. The many cracks in the center of the disc spreading outward seems like they are just missing the damage and resending them out. They have had a bad rep here and was even featured on the local news about the number of complaints coming from this distribution center. Customer service agents said it may also be in the production of the discs.
When you get a damaged disc report it damaged, ask for a new one, and then when the new one ships then send the old one back in but not before. If you are not doing this there is a chance you are getting your same damaged copy over and over.
