discrepancy between webpage review and editing page star count

I've just discovered that the star rating I gave--of the items I've checked on so far--on the page where you can edit your own reviews, is sometimes different than that which was originally intended, and given.

I found one where I was gushing about a certain item in my review and on the edit page it's 4 stars and on the item's Netflix web page--among the other reviews--it's 3.

This kind of bugs me--because as I'm sure many of us intend to be specific in our love or hate of certain items, if there's a flaw in the system it should be brought to Netflix's attention.

After I changed that 3 star to a four, and saved it--it wasn't reflected on the item's webpage--but then maybe that just takes time to be uploaded.

Anyone else see this?

Never noticed it. Are you certain you're not seeing other people's ratings on some of those pages? There are some pages that don't show what YOU rated, but the consensus of all ratings. And I'm sure it takes a long time for your 'click' to make it through the entire system, so whatever you see, I suggest you don't click again.
i haven't really seen myself - once a long time ago my hubby rated a crappy movie really highly and i changed the star rating - it took a day or so to "correct" and show that.
I haven't seen it with stars, but sometimes if I edit a review the edit will show up on my review page before it shows up on the movie page.

Give it a day, and if it still isn't updated in both places call customer service so they can look into it.
Once a star rating is assigned to your review it's static. It will not change on your review no matter how many times you change the rating on the movie's page.

The star rating shown on Your Reviews and Lists page reflects the rating that shows on the movie's page. That will change if you 'edit' it, but the star rating shown alongside your review on the Member Reviews pages (the star ratings that show as purple) will not.
Thanks folks. well, I checked another dozen or so...found no more problems.

The ones I found wrong were among the earliest I did.

And, thatboy, if I changed something on my edit page, AFTER I originally reviewed it, I suppose
that's a possible explanation...and usually, my revised opinion will be upward, rather than down.
