wheres all the good movie .....i mean theres a fair share of classic comedys and dramas and such but wheres all the blockbusters netflix???......god awful... and some of the movies i selected are not available for xbox.....you cant tell me this instant queue was just made up last week.....i (we) want some quality new releases and actual blockbusters to be able to watch. how many times can a person watch POTC at worlds end? if im going to be a ongoing subscriber i would appreciate quality films to watch. i dont want to have to deal with dvds in the mail thats why i have a xbox

I don't know if you have access but "Starz Play" would be the most recent rleases. Let me know if you have access. Top 100 is usually good for 1 or 2 good new release's.

I got bored and created a list of movies I'd like to see on instant queue... I think Netflix is doing a pretty balla job so far when it comes to tv shows but i think the movies are lacking a bit... granted i DO have movies i haven't seen already in my instant queue but sometimes i wanna watch something familiar or something i KNOW will be good, and i don't wanna wait for the delivery because i've been having tv shows sent to me instead of movies... and yes, i AM aware that nxe is new. and yes, i AM aware that netflix can't release some of these. and no, i'm not gonna cancel my subscription or flame netflix b/c "zomgtheywontlistentomyrequests!"

next step is to actually get in touch with netflix with suggestions like these. since this is only a ning forum. but many of those choices don't seem unreasonable to me. i'm thinking that in the upcoming year. if streaming grows in popularity and is the future of movie watching as it seems it will be. that a lot of these titles and more will be available. if i'm not mistaken the first season of dexter was available on instant watch until just recently. but i could be wrong. in the meantime these are the last 5 four-star rated movies that i've watched on instant watch:

Showtime, unlike HBO, has a policy of allowing streaming of their shows. Therefore shows like Dexter and Weeds either are or have been available on IW. Californication too, IIRC.

a lot of those are probably real possibilities but the day they will start putting movies like The Dark Knight on Instant Watch upon it's Video Release you will be paying like 30 or 40 bucks a month just for streaming.
