horrible selection for xbox users....

wheres all the good movie .....i mean theres a fair share of classic comedys and dramas and such but wheres all the blockbusters netflix???......god awful... and some of the movies i selected are not available for xbox.....you cant tell me this instant queue was just made up last week.....i (we) want some quality new releases and actual blockbusters to be able to watch. how many times can a person watch POTC at worlds end? if im going to be a ongoing subscriber i would appreciate quality films to watch. i dont want to have to deal with dvds in the mail thats why i have a xbox

You are absolutely right. Only problem is that Netflix doesn't control which movies are available for Instant Watch and which aren't. The studios control that, and a bunch of them don't want to let anyone stream their newest movies, others have licensed the movies to be streamed elsewhere (exclusively) and all these things cut off Netflix from access to streaming each and every movie out there. That's why it's mostly older movies that are available and why there are more movies from certain studios.

The studios are simply too reactionary and/or paranoid. But hey, it's easier to blame Netflix, so let's do that.; ▶ Reply to This

fact remains that at this point and time a MAJORITY of netflix library is in dvds.
Now just because you (Jebus... AKA bob borka) are not using Netflix for their instant streaming services does not mean others are not never have i said that i don't use the instant streaming service. i use watch instantly every weekend and i have about 450 movies in my instant queue right now. it's going to literally take me forever to get thru just this many movies at the rate that i watch them.
Now while yes, you can find a variety of movies to add to your instant queue for viewing, most of them are movies I have seen before i somehow really doubt this and i am sticking to my hunch that you probably just have pretty crappy taste in movies.
So based on the fact that my format of preference is instant streaming
but you didn't sign up for JUST instant streaming. they do not even offer a package with just instant streaming.
And I highly doubt that I am unique in my preferences
i agree with you on that one.... i actually am unique in my preferences and yet i am still able to find things to watch instant. i know, amazing, right?!
u (Jebus) are already a happy customer and are not part of this new market being targeted, so it is completely understandable why you are having such a difficult time wrapping your little brain around these new-fangled concept
i actually have a younger brother with an xbox who i let use my queue and he is just fine with the selection. YESSSSS you're right the XBOX is such an advanced piece of machinery how could i EVER understand such advance technology. omg why don't you hump your xbox already?; ▶ Reply to This
