wheres all the good movie .....i mean theres a fair share of classic comedys and dramas and such but wheres all the blockbusters netflix???......god awful... and some of the movies i selected are not available for xbox.....you cant tell me this instant queue was just made up last week.....i (we) want some quality new releases and actual blockbusters to be able to watch. how many times can a person watch POTC at worlds end? if im going to be a ongoing subscriber i would appreciate quality films to watch. i dont want to have to deal with dvds in the mail thats why i have a xbox

No one said that they were not using the mailers, but what you fail to understand about business is that to succeed, you need what's called a "competitive advantage". Something that you have that others do not. I'll type slowly so you can understand. Netflix has been getting new members lately by luring them in with a promise of 12,000 amazing INSTANTLY streaming movies! When customers fly over and realize that when they pull up the front page of netflix that not a single one of the "featured" front page movies is available for instant viewing, they get a little frustrated.

so you're saying dvds are like beta max?
eventually they will be, yes. Just like any technology they will eventually become irrelevant. Why have a media format when you can have it instantly without doing anything? Any particular reason you have a chubby for sticking plastic things in your slot?

why will no one just name these blockbuster movies they want to see on netflix iw? not one person has named a movie that they'd like to watch instantly. all i keep hearing is 'netflix needs to get better movies'. but no one wants to name these magical film gems. i suspect its because you have taste for shit

sorry, but at least two people on this thread have made the comment 'why would i want to deal with dvds' not sure what other way you take this statement. but you might want to deal with dvds because its what you paid for. not sure why you're not following. probably because you're dense.

as for your suggestions i do applaud you for taking the time to look up some examples of what you'd like to see netflix pick up. at least its a little bit HELPFUL. a lot of the stuff on those lists either majorly sucks or are still on ppv though. all i'm saying is you might want to give it a little more time. the instant watch feature itself is only what? 2 years old? and if netflix never meets your expectations then the answer is simple. end your service.
