Watched a very powerful movie that left this question open at the end of it but I can not remember what the movie was called. Anybody remember this one?
I love 21 Grams! Becca, if you like that one, should try the following films as well, if you haven't seen them: Things We Lost In The Fire, Half Nelson, Crash (with Sandar Bullock).
Dying, when done well, is a fascinating topic for a film. I thought that Evening and Stay did it very well, though many seem to disagree. 21 Grams is in my queue. Now, I'll look forward to seeing it even more.
Want to know something ridiculous? It takes precisely 0 seconds for the soul to leave the body since it is the body. Want to know how I know this and where I got it from? The bible. Eccesiastes 9:5 states, "For the living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all..." Genesis 2:7 states, "the man (it's talking about Adam here) came to be a living soul." I love how thousands of religious fanatics have gotten this wrong. I have found a boatload of scriptures like these to support this. The Hebrew word used for Hell is literally translated "the common grave." Trust me, I'm no religious obsessor and it was relatively easy for me to find proof of this information. Thought it was intresting... Check it out if you don't believe me. I didn't settle for anything that wasn't concrete. I want to see that film now.
