I have the New Xbox Experience with netflix and....

I was selected to be part of the NXE program and just recieved it yesterday. I signed up with Netflix and I'm sorry to say that movie selection is terrible. Most of the movies I'm finding I've never heard of or are so old. My hope is that I'm new to netflix and searching wrong or something.

The good news is that, with my direct connected Comcast connection, the movies load very fast and stream flawlessly. If only they had some decent selections!

I agree with you Nick, I signed up for Netflix with the new Xbox experience and they really need to work on the selection. Its not that I dont enjoy watching old movies but if all I wanted to do was that then why not just watch cable. I signed up for Netflix for the service of being able to watch new releases instantly without having to go buy the movie since my 300+ dvd collection is now starting to become obselete with new movie technologies. I'd rather not have to run out and buy movies and when I want to watch a movie i'm probably like most of you.... you want to watch it now. Not wait for the shipment from Netflix a couple days later.

Watch Now isn't quite meant to replace the standard rent-by-mail netflix service, it's a supplement. It's nice to watch some other movies inbetween receiving the discs in the mail. They do continue to expand the selection, but I wouldn't expect to see many brand new releases any time soon.
