Hi - I'm a Netflix Watch Instantly fan and a software developer, so I did the inevitable and created a website to help me and others find Watch Instantly Netflix titles faster & with fewer distractions. It also tracks expiration dates. I hope you guys find it useful.
YouTube does, but Hulu doesn't. Right now, the Netflix API doesn't offer an easy way to embed movie previews for their titles on external sites, so maybe YouTube can supply them. Anyway, that's what I was thinking of trying since previews are the main thing missing right now.
Searched instantwatcher.com last night for Perfect Blue. I couldn't find it. I then went through the list of anime and still no luck. The netflix website shows it as available on IW.
I should add, that Perfect Blue was originally set to expire January 1, then set to expire February 1 and now has no set expiration date (at least in the queue).
Any idea what's going on? Is your system set to not list movies past expiration even if this date then "vanishes"?
Perfect Blue was in the instantwatcher database, but for very technical reasons it wasn't showing in the listings. I just fixed this and made sure this bug is squashed for good. Thanks for alerting me to it.
I wonder if there is any way that you can modify the "random" feature. It seems to repeat itself a lot compared to the number of titles and the vast majority of titles it gives are Gene Autry movies.
Yes, there are two ways. You can set the minimum rating filter. Then only titles with that rating or above will show up. Alternatively, you can click "Random in genre" when you're under a genre category. Then only titles from that genre will pop up. I hope this suffices! If not, let me know.
