So when did THIS start?? I get to the end of any streamed movie or TV show (I am watching on a PS3) and Netflix has to butt in and window the credits while showing links to next episodes for TV or other "films I might like" for movies. To be fair, you can click to the windowed credits and jump back to the film full screen but WHY should we have to do that... this kind of on-screen garbage is the reason I stopped watching movies on cable. SHOW THE WHOLE MOVIE AS IT WAS INTENDED TO BE SEEN. How hard is that???

Permalink Reply by nlmike on May 10, 2012 at 4:48am I have seen that happen with the last two movies I watched.
I find it RUDE and very disruptive. The equivalent of someone snatching a book from my hands as I am finishing the last chapter.
Even worse: as I was watching the movie "Evelyn" last night, and it happened TOO EARLY, before the credits roll actually started, as some still text was giving background information about the true story that the movie was based on. I had to go back to the movie "window" to bring it back in full screen and rewind it to see what I had missed.
I want to be able to control WHEN I stop watching my movies.
Permalink Reply by thatboy on May 10, 2012 at 5:53am Do you also use a PS3 to stream, or some other device?
Permalink Reply by petek66 on May 10, 2012 at 6:50am I'm only talking about streaming on the PS3. I have Netflix installed on other devices but haven't streamed anything on them lately. This just happened for the first time and got me so irked I fled to the unfocused rage forum :)
Permalink Reply by thatboy on May 10, 2012 at 7:06am I understand that. I was asking nlmike what he uses.

Then do that. Problem solved. Next...
Permalink Reply by petek66 on May 10, 2012 at 10:01am Unacceptable. Let them get away with this and next they'll start popping up ads during the film. "Did you like the explosion you just saw? Add Lethal Weapon II to your queue now!"
Permalink Reply by Spindaddydad on May 10, 2012 at 12:53pm What do you mean "let" them get away with it. How are you preventing them from doing it now?
Permalink Reply by macsimon on May 11, 2012 at 11:21pm Yes, I figured that out. But WTF? How about paying to see a movie and then seeing the whole movie? Netflix is indeed becoming too good to be true.
Permalink Reply by macsimon on May 11, 2012 at 11:18pm I got the same thing. I called Netflix and spoke to a supervisor and he was no help. I think Netflix may be selling out and turning into TV or Cable. I foresee commercials that we have to pay for, like cable.
Permalink Reply by Spindaddydad on May 13, 2012 at 11:30am Do you remember what exactly the supervisor told you? Literally nothing or just something you didn't want to hear? Are we sure this isn't a device-specific thing?
