Netflix Movie Fans

So apparently Netflix does want to turn into the next Showtime or HBO. They are moving forward with acquiring rights to more original programming and have picked up a Norwegian-produced TV show called Lilyhammer.  This is in addition to having already acquired the rights to the David Fincher/Kevin Spacey produced show House of Cards

More details here:

This new show stars Steven van Zandt (The Sopranos) as a Mafia informant who chooses to move to Norway as part of the Witness Protection Program.

Check out the trailer:

Will you watch this new show or were you done with Netflix anyway?

The second half of the shows become a little more cohesive in terms of the overall story, but the basics of the show remain the same. Small problems come up and Johnny uses his unorthodox views to solve those little problems or help others solve them.

Thanks.

Maybe I'll tune back in and see if I can get into it.
