I thought I'd start a generic thread to post about new series shows that people might be digging on, or "trying" to get into.

With way too much time on my hands (and maybe 20 years of never watching them having "perhaps" created a mini black hole that has recently sucked me into so many...)

Shows that I watch.

Bones 3 (used to be 4) stars... They made Temperance go all "weird" again like in the beginning, ever since Booth had amnesia (yeah I get it but OK, move on with it...)
Castle 4 stars (Nathan & Stana are sexy together :)
Eastwick 3 (maybe 4) stars for silly fun!
Flash Forward 3.5 stars, still digging it...
Fringe 3.5 stars... You gotta like a character named Walter who is not afraid to talk about taking LSD, Green Jello and erections, all in the same sentence LOL!
Ghost Whisperer 3 stars, I liked the older seasons/shows better, its gotten stupid this season.
Nip/Tuck 3 stars, still out there, but you can tell they are running out of ideas!
Sanctuary 4 stars, was sort of sorry to see Magnus daughter get killed off in the 2nd season, or was she?
SGU 3 stars... I wish they would move it along! Its kinda boring....
V 4.5 (first episode) I totally dug it, hope they keep up the pace!

Shows currently mid season or upcoming:

24 4 stars... Jan 17, 2010
Better of Ted 4 stars... December 8, 2009
Dollhouse 3 stars... Dec 12, 2009.
Eureka 3 (was 4) stars... Summer of 2010 (boos at SyFy channel!)
Lost 4.5 stars... Final season starts late January or early February 2010
Warehouse 13 3.5 stars... Shooting new episodes March 2010, airs July 2010?!?

OK! Those are mine! What are yours? Or rip my viewing choices to shreds if you like :P Its gotta be better then whiny complaint threads.

But then they are doing it in some of the other networks shows too. Its weird and makes me wonder... are they hurting for actors?
I know it is odd and it is running to a very common occurrence. Caprica isn't even showing yet and there are more leaks about its cameo and guest stars than most anything else about the show.

Mangus screws up and causes the end of the world
I can agree there that is the only redeemable quality to that episode.

I did watch the last episode so I am completely current, I actually ended up liking it. As to the crow getting lost at episode 6 and offering his review, put a link I am not swimming through all your reviews to see why you dislike a show. Why would it matter if we have common ground, you can only talk to people about shows that you both feel the same about?

All I can say is the series is shaky. It will have 7-8 ok episodes, a 2-3 really good episodes and 2-3 really crappy ones in a season. I bounce between 3-4 stars for how I feel on it at any given time, at least one episodes though I truly disliked (reporter ep: ssn:1 was one). It seems like they are all over the place for style and overall theme for how each show will run. On the whole though I enjoy most of the characters and the overall plot is right up my alley.

Agreed! I think we will begin seeing networks plugging more and more..

I enjoy Bones... The last episode had an entire segment devoted to the three geeky guys getting their tickets and standing in line to see the premiere of Avatar!

The crow is likely only here cause he wants to light my ass on fire... He just hasn't found the correct flammable liquid yet.
I enjoy Bones...

I have enjoyed the handful of episodes I have seen. I do plan on one day going back and watching the series from the beginning, or close to it I think I saw about 1/2 of season 1 or maybe all of it then it seemed like every several weeks they were on a different night.
Sanctuary lost me about episode 6. I'd like to talk to someone about it, but if it really captivated you all this time, I don't see a common ground here. Read my review.

Is anyone going to watch Alice, ”the Syfy Network’s re-imagining of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”? First part aired yesterday and the next airs today. I kinda liked their Wizard of Oz re-imaging Tin Man. I recorded it and might check it out when there's no new TV show eps in a couple of weeks.

Yes I am recording it to watch and I really enjoyed Tin Man.
