A Netflix Community

No August, September, October or November ratings in Recent Activity or on your Netflix Profile Page?

We're three weeks into November now, and I see not a single Movie Rating for the past 3 1/2 months on anyone's Netflix Profile page. I can see dates for recent reviews and when Netflix has shipped or received disks of Friends in the past week, but not a single Rating with an August, September or October date. They all stop on July 31. Or at least 99.99% percent of them do.

This is on the Recent Activity list in the Friends section and on folks' individual Netflix Profile page. Take a peek.

Has anyone else noticed? Or know why? I'm assuming it's just a glitch, but it's rubbing me the wrong way. I'm a left to right kind of guy.

A member who apparently regretted sharing his conspiracy theory. Too bad, it was a good story.

So Morgan's community features are working fine? Like JRO1987's?

I can't extrapolate his theory from that.

Is JRO1987 a Netflix employee? Wait, that can't be who Morgan's theory was about because JRO1987 has no reviews.

The fact that JRo1987 doesn't review stuff makes it easier to see that his ratings are still posting in "recent activity."

I don't know if he's an employee, or how you could tell from a NF profile.

Is Morgan an employee? He says not.

No back when the ratings stopped I noticed JRO's still worked. That was my conspiracy theory which I just remembered reading Morgan's. His was more interesting and had to do with a review and NF employees and threats and guns and phones in shoes. Well not really guns but phones were involved - probably not in shoes though.
Morgan espoused the theory that since his "recent activity" vanished after he had dinged a "prominent" reviewer with a spoiler alert, this "prominent" reviewer had someone working on the inside at Netflix who then somehow "flagged" Morgan so things stopped working. It didn't help that hours after Morgan filled out the standard CS satisfaction questionnaire with complaints about the lack of "recent activity" and his "insider theory" everything went back to normal. Apparently someone at Netflix read the questionnaire and thought "uh-oh, Morgan's on to us" and "unflagged" him - or something like that...

Well, I have flagged an awful lot of reviews for one thing or another.... But somehow I doubt that almost all of my "faves" bother with the flags.

Hey! It's worth a try!
Just be careful! Notice how Morgan's post vanished after he revealed his theory to us. Might not be a complete koinkidink, if you know what I mean...
OiVey! I'm sorry folks, I'm not use to these forums and am still trying to get my bearings here....

Anyway, just to clear up any confusion, I deleted my long, drawn-out story because I did indeed feel a little embarrassed for sharing it because of a couple of responses to it.
Don't worry, Morgan. We're just joshin'.

I've been succumbing to flights of fancy about this and some other problems on the NF site myself.
It's all good fun, Morgan! We have a veritable collection of conspiracy theories here on this site. In fact, maybe someone should start a thread about them and we can compare notes. :-)
I just saw a November rating on Friends and Faves Latest activity:

safiYA!

I can't check any of my other faves because it's Temporarily Unavailable. Maybe this is a good sign that it's being fixed and if not Netflix - find out why safiYA's is working and the rest aren't.

Another from my friend and fave activity RJs has a new (since July) rating.
