OK, Netflix. It's been 28 days since the BBC Warner DVD release, and you still don't show this title, even to Save. CS knows nothing more than the usual "We try to get as much content as we can, as soon as possible."
I think Tabi was just trying to encourage me (who? what?) about my difficulty adjusting to the fact of a new doctor.
I have only once before had the experience of changing doctors (Eccleston to Tennant). I "hated" Tennant at first. If I can see that reaction as being typical, then I am more likely to continue giving it a chance in spite of fearing that I will "hate" Matt Smith.
Obviously, the experience has not been universal, but the little homily spoke to me (once I got it).
Well, there certainly is a lot of precedent for the Doctor becoming angry. William Hartnell and Colin Baker were angry most of the time and Christopher Eccleston totally flipped out when Rose saved her dad in Father's Day. One reason I took to Matt so fast may be because I am such a fan of Steven Moffet.
Yeah, Tennant took the Doc in a different direction with the anger/volatility. Smith now has to play off this angst that was always there in the mythology, but never really 'got in touch with' until Tennant.
"Getting started with my summer movie viewing ...
Star Trek Into Darkness - This is a pretty good action movie but unfortunately it's a pretty shitty Star Trek movie. JJ Abrams had 4 years to write this crap and all he came up with…"
