A Netflix Community

I'm interested in viewing some foreign movies but need help finding some worth while. I'm more interested in the Japanese, Korean, or Chinese films, than European right now. I just watched Gate of Flesh, which was okay... wasn't spectacular on my list, but just okay for me.
Any suggestions? I love thrillers, and anything filled with suspense. A little skin and some blood & gore are always a great combo too.
Thanks!

You may want to try this one out -- Japanese slasher style Machine Girl.

It's over the top but if you're prepared for it, you may enjoy it.

If you liked Twin Peaks, Inugami is a good film to watch. It's a Japanese supernatural horror movie.

See both the Foreign Film group and the Japanese Cinema Group.

Pan's Labyrinth and The Orphanage are great movies to watch and they are both instant viewing.

But as for Jap,chine, korean,,,,,Id probably say just goto netflix and look it up, there is over 100 films just in horror. I know all these American remakes like the grudge, the ring, shutter, one missed call, the eye, dark water, red eye were all better to watch as originals.

I have seen Pans Labyrinth, which I thought was good. I'll have to watch the Orphanage next time I have some free time to watch IW.
Thanks!

Hi--here are some of my favorites!

Re-cycle
Reincarnation
Hausu---this one isn't available (unfortunately) on Netflix but I saw it recently on the IFC channel. I wish Netflix would carry it and already put in my request. It's a trippy, haunted house movie sort of like The Grudge. If you get to see it, it's fabulous.

I second Machine Girl and third Oldboy.

Also, be sure to watch the other two movies that are part of the vengeance trilogy (with Oldboy). The order that you watch doesn't matter.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Lady Vengeance

Also
Battle Royale
Infernal Affairs

and for something different

The Host
