I would like to request Waiting to Exhale it was on here before, but now it not!!!

My request would be the complete series of Mad TV which aired from 1994 until a few years ago. This comedy series which was amazing in the years when SNL sucked, was one of the only shows I ever used to watch on TV. And no, I DO NOT want to see the last years of the show, I want to see the Will Sasso years of Mad TV which were the absolute best! This show should be on Netflix. Pay heed Netflix executives, let's get it into action and put the complete MadTV series on here.

I vote for MadTV too.  I want all the Miss Swan episodes for sure.  He look-a-like-a-man.

to me i want more anime like naruto, bleach, pokémon, death note and the entire saga of ben 10 and if you say all of that sucks you can just go fu...we'll be back after these messages

Perhaps you could try a higher quality of anime.  ;)

what do you mean by that just saying...higher quality i dont get it

Well, the titles you listed are mostly anime for young teens.  That demographic changes it's tastes quite frequently and it may not be financially tenable for Netflix to pay the owners (Funimation, whoever) for the IW rights and hit the profit point they are looking for.  I don't know if you've been following the NF related news, but NF makes very little profit in the IW side of the business.  Somewhere around 1%.  While they are still making over 15% on the disc by mail service.  Yes, it's an investment in the future of increased IW traffic, but NF is still struggling with poor management in these times of large international IW expansion and cut throat deals with the content providers.

I just checked and IW currently has many highly respected titles right now: almost every Ghost In The Shell Movies/Series, Mushi Shi, FLCL, Blood+, Last Exile, Sky Crawlers...

Of course if you want to watch content more in the vein of your initial listings; I saw plenty of Naruto, Gag Guard, Witchblade, Macross, Inuyasha, etc.

Overall, considering that our beloved anime is such a tiny market, I think we're pretty lucky to have the choices available to us in Netflix's struggling economic times.  Enjoy!

ps   And if you are a young teen, I apologize.  You might want to try Skycrawlers (best aircraft fighting sequences ever) and may be FLCL (considered the funniest anime of all time).  May be the TV series version of Ghost in the Shell - it's a sci fi cop show where the Elite Section 9 team is half cyborgs - lots of action.

so what your saying is that the animes i listed arent going to be on netflix and we are lucky to at least have a anime section on are little movie castle called netflix....why did i call netflix a castle....i just thaught of somthing why do castle and sword have a silent letter i know its off topic but still and that anime sky crallers sounds preaty good but about ben 10 its technally not an anime it just has anime style hair and eyes but it was made by cartoon network and that is American but thank god it is coming to Canada :3 huh huh what about that son....that was uhhhh...ya anyway what about ben 10

They might be - I wouldn't count on it, you just never know with Netflix.  :(

thats true

I've been wondering how they determine what all netflix subscribers want for instant watch for a long time since the saved queue is how they determine demand for getting stuff on DVD/bluray. But you can't add stuff to saved instant queue and haven't been able to for a very long time now. Personally I have found so much stuff to both instantly and on disc that both queues are full and still have to track titles beyond that with an overflow list. So I take things as they come. I be sure to add everything that I want to see that they don't have on disc to the saved disc queue so that they at least know I want to see those titles and figure they will get it one way or another eventually.

Hey, I've been frustrated by the inability to save unavailable movies to my instant queue, so I wrote an iPhone app that helps with that, among other things. If you add movies to your list in it and then pick "Instant Queue", it'll add the movie to your instant queue when/if it ever becomes available.
