Second Try. Technical question on Roku hook-up.

I have a 4 year old Dell 4600 and connect to the internet via Verizon DSL. My computer only has one ethernet jack and the DSL box has one ethernet jack. So there is no place to plug in a netflix box. Can I make the connection by buying a splitter?
