Permalink Reply by hkrambo on June 29, 2012 at 4:44pm I'm having the same issue, i thought it was my internet. But i just changed from centrylink 7mps to Comcast 20mps. It fixed my problem with streaming on my bluray player in the bedroom. However even though i have full bars and HD when avaliable, movies or tv shows take 10-15 minutes to start. Going to switch from wireless N to wired connection and see if that fixes the problem
20mps internet
cisco systems wireless DualBand N router
Wireless N adapter for xbox 360 and Bluray Player
I just did a Speed Test and it said 833 kps. That's over Comcast cable thru a Netgear Dualband G/N router. I use my LAN to send the NF signal to a wireless BD player downstairs on the other side of the house and from there to the 1080p screen via a 2 meter HDMI.2 cable. Takes about 5 seconds for that red bar to load NF product. May be 10 secs on a holiday or after dinnertime. I'm East Coast, which seems to have better servers that SoCal - which might be your problem. I've also heard of slow load times with X Box involved, too.
