Permalink Reply by macroman on April 1, 2013 at 6:07am Days of Glory (French-Algerian. 2006)=Even though I've seen it twice already, I re-added this great wartime drama about Algerian units that fought for the French during WWII but then had their military pensions suspended during the Algerian uprising for independence.
Then -President Jacques Chirac, a war hero himself, decided to restore the pensions after watching this film, showing that movies sometimes make a difference.
This film also has very good bonus features.
