I hate Tom Cruise, unless he's in the hands of an intelligent director that sees and reveals his seething, smarmy inner nature. He was brilliant (or brilliantly directed) in Magnolia ("give me that cherry pie, sweet mama baby!"), and in Eyes Wide Shut.
