Director, Ermanno Olmi, recreates the journey of the Magi as it might have been enacted by a village full of Italian peasants called, Keep Walking (Cammina Cammina). Pasolini, of course, did this in part with his The Gospel According To Saint Matthew  but Olmi's film, from what I hear, is lighter in tone. I've had the DVD for a while but it's sat unwatched since it was gifted to me by a friend. This morning I might give it a go. Has anyone here even heard of it?

"How's it going? I made an attempt at Jones but found the style too mannered to suit the mood I was in. I expected much lighter hand for some reason.  I'll pick it up again soon. "

" Let'a Go Crazy: Prince and the Making of Purple Rain Recent release I just started. Seems it's far less about the technical aspects of the film and much more about the world around Prince during its conception and release."
