A new group, which previously never existed, now does in fact exist. It is The Auteur Appreciation Society. Among the useful features of this group are:

The ability to join the group (very handy)
Discussions of auteurs (and not just "How do I pronouce 'auteur'?" or "What is an auteur?")
Discussions of the best and worst films by any given auteur
Sentence fragments
Lists of favorite auteurs (in progress now!)
Learning how to impress others, gain friends, and influence government officials using only your knowledge of auteurs.
Meeting other fans of your favorite auteurs
Arguing
Getting to know group founder Richie Millennium (not as great as it sounds, and it doesn't even sound that great)
Making sarcastic comments
Being popular and attractive
