I'm addicted to the watch instantly feature on netflix and I was wondering if others here had noticed any good anime that is available to watch instantly here. I have found Ghost in the Shell :Stand Alone Complex and Steamboy so far.

Death Note on Hulu, that's good to know. Just skip the last episode and everything will be just fine.
If anyone is still reading this group, some current series I have enjoyed on IW are:

Mushi Shi
Noein
Hell Girl

Hey Scott! Sorry it took me so long to respond. But ya I have noticed that Netflix has been getting some fairly decent series lately. It appears they signed some big deals with FUNimation in particular.

You should check out Darker than Black if you haven't yet. It's a solid series with good action. The plot is a bit confusing and never really goes anywhere until it falls apart in the second season, but the first season is still very fun to watch.

I noticed that they have Queens Blade on NF instant right now too. I haven't finished it myself yet, and actually have been waiting for my blu-ray copies in the since the beginning of December. It appears that Media Blasters couldn't even keep up with there pre-orders. This series is really hit or miss though. We are talking extreme violence and border line Hentai subject matter. Not for the squeamish. It's probably a perfect example of a title that people who point at anime fans as being freaks, would use to prove our hedonism.  What ever, it's a fun title if you don't take it seriously.

I've also noticed that they have D. Gray-man: Season 1: Part 2 on instant watch. That is also another fairly good shounen title. The biggest problem with this series for me, is that FUNimation can't seem to get the licensing rights to the third season. Hopefully they will. Until then check it out.

Oh wow, it's been a while since I've actually looked at what NF had on instant. It appears that they also have Seriei no "Moribito" too. That's is just an all around great series, beautiful art and the story is also very interesting.

I actually own the first collection of Goglo 13 already, but haven't made time to watch it yet. I here a lot of great things though from seinen fans.

On the other hand I haven't heard that great of things about Gunslinger Girl: Season 2: Il Teatrino. I enjoyed the first series but not enough to get past the bad reviews of the this second edition. If you've finish the other shows already mentioned, you could still check it out and see for yourself. I'd definitely watch the first season though.

Ghost Hound is also supposed to be a highly regarded anime that I've yet to watch. Mostly because it's so damn expensive right now on Blu-ray. I guess that makes this great opportunity to see if it's worth the money.

It looks like they have quite a few good titles indeed. Blue Drop is a nice little shoujo-ai series. I haven't finished that one yet either, but I've watched it up to episode seven. I was enjoying it, but put it down for another series at some point. This happens a lot to me. But ya another great opportunity to watch it.

Yeah get on these titles whilst you still can. I hope you managed to watch Mushishi. That is an amazing series, Noein wasn't terrible either. Sorry again for taking so long with this response. I hope you find this reply helpful.

As far as NetFlix instant watch goes, it is as it is. Movies and series are always changing. The most recent posts might even be obsolete week to week.  Last time I checked my most recent post's series are all still available. I also just noticed that XxxHolic is on instant watch now. There are some other great sources on the net to watch Anime. I put some of those sites together here.

The best way to revive a discussion, is to do what you just did. Post a question.

Thanks for that list.  I've been watching Corpse Princess on YouTube since Netflix doesn't feel like carrying it at all.  (To be honest, it's not that great anyway...)
Clannad!!!  I've got to agree with you on this one!  I've re-watched this series probably three times and cried each time.  Wonderful recommendation!

I've pretty much added all the instant watch anime I can find.  Mushi-Shi is one of my all-time favorites.  I just wish they would give them to us in their original language.  Some of the dubs are good, but it doesn't seem right to watch such very Japanese shows as Mushi-Shi, Moribito or Samurai Seven in English.  Since they actually offer Samurai Seven on Bluray (and I'm paying extra for it), I've been getting those instead.

Ghost Hound is great.

I've ordered Queen's Blade on BluRay but it's on backorder from Amazon.  I really enjoyed the first disc which I rented a while back.

I've had Queens Blade pre-ordered on Blu-ray now on Amazon since December 3rd. I'm more than a bit annoyed that they couldn't even fulfill their pre-order obligations. I'm close to to canceling my order. I can't begin to imagine why media blasters would alienate consumers further by neglecting the few titles they have licensed worth buying.

I agree with you about the dub's mostly, but Samurai Seven's dub really didn't bother me all that much. Neither did Samurai Champloo's, even though it's also an edo period samurai series. You can add Samurai X, Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen, to the list of samurai series that had a good dub although that series does sound much better in Japanese. Instant watch does have it's limitations though since you can't control language options. I've been meaning to watch Ghost Hound for so long now, but alas so little time.

The Samurai 7 dub is mostly good, but the voice of the mechanical samurai really grates to me.
That Cyborg Samurai's whistles drove me mad too.
I love using the Feedflicks website to see what NF will be streaming soon.  You can organize it in order of genre to find the anime section.
I just noticed that Honey and Clover and Shin Chan are now steaming! If you haven't seen these series yet, this is a great chance to watch them easily. Shin Chan has the first two seasons and has been altered significantly from it's Japanese counterpart but is still very funny imo.
