Saw 2 movies with Michael Fassbender last week. In Shame, he plays a sexual addict living with his suicidal sister and in Dangerous Method, he plays Carl Jung opposite Viggo Mortensen's Freud. Dangerous Method was the more successful film. Both should be out in dvd soon.

In Soviet Cinema: The Ascent, The Cranes Are Flying, Gypsies Are Found Near Heaven, and The Dawns Here Are Quiet. All wonderful.

See "Belle Toujours", a sequel to "Belle du Jour". It has great direction and is likely far different from most film you've seen. Film Grrrl has reviewed.

Russian Ark was amazing. Single take with one continous shot and no editing. Highly recommeded.

Just seen and highly recommended: "The Dawns Here Are Quiet"
