Wow. One of the great funny ladies of British comedy is gone. Are you being Served? is the reason I got into British Comedy, and Mrs. Slocum was certainly one of my favorites in the show. Are you being Served? use to be on PBS late night when I first watched it and I still think it is the very finest of British Comedy. Mrs. Slocum and her pussy ( cat) provided many,many laughs.
