Netflix Movie Fans

Share what you've seen from the Brits here. What's the last movie or British TV show you've watched? While comedies are my favorites this can be any genre - drama, documentary, etc - DVDs or at the theatre.

Likes: Vicar of Dibley, The Good Neighbors, To The Manor Born, The Office, Little Britain, Absolutly Fabulous, Outnumbered.  "Keeping Mum" is a great dark comedy, as DeeAnn Bradley wrote.  A TV comedy that's fun is "Black Books".  There is also "Vicar of Dibley" with Dawn French, co-creator of Absolutley Fabulous.  I like "LIttle Britain", but "Waiting for God" just didn't do it for me.  Obscure but hilarious is "Undertaking Betty" with Brenda Blethlyn, Alfred Molina, Christopher Walken, and Naomi Watts.
Hi Olivia,  I like a lot on this list.  Black Books and Little Britain are a couple of my favorites.  I'm going to look into the ones I haven't seen like Undertaking Betty.  Dark comedy is my favorite genre.  Thanks for posting.

I have just finished watching Disk 3 of the second season of "Doc Martin"  We have enjoyed immensely this series of British comedy and hope to see more of Doc Martin.  Light comedy and you quickly become familiar with the main characters and their personality quirks.... If you enjoy British comedy you should enjoy Doc Martin.

Jack

Thanks for the recommendation Jack. I've queued it to check out.

I noticed Green Wing is now on Netflix streaming.  It's also available on HULU.

"Garrow's Law 5 Stars Another great BBC series. Historically based drama about an 18Th Century defense attorney who changed British criminal defense. "
