The Cast For MACHETE Is Unbelievable

By Dave Dreher -

How this little fake trailer has grown into such a major, star studded project is beyond me but you can bet your ass that I am looking incredibly forward to seeing what they come up with.

Here's the latest news on casting and such:

Robert Rodriguez has cast Jessica Alba , Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey, Don Johnson and Steven Seagal to back up Danny Trejo in MACHETE the big screen version of his trailer that appeared at the begining of GRINDHOUSE.
Wow, now that's a cast.

I loved Midnight Meat Train, but I should say that I know (and also love) the short story. It was fairly faithful, so if you didn't know it was coming, I guess I can see why people wouldn't like it. But I highly recommend, if there are any readers here that haven't read the story, the Books of Blood by Clive Barker....:-)

It seems to me when they do stuff like that is that they just didn't know how to end a story and that is a easy way out,

Totally, Jeldobar. I loved Midnight Meat Train, until the last 10 minutes.

Midnight Meat Train would have been so much better if they didn't turn it into what they did at the very end

We have Eden Lake and Cold Prey to look forward to in Jan. and Midnight Meat Train and Otto: Up With Dead People in Feb. *sigh*

Boy this has been a sad four weeks or so for new horror releases! Nothing really intriguing until January! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
