The Worst Horror Movie Ever Made

...and that's the actual title. A little fitting if you ask me. But as a fan of truly low budget, I laughed my way through the whole thing and ended up liking it pretty well (minus the first 15 minutes). Just curious if anyone else has seen this and what your thoughts are. If you haven't seen it before, give it a shot. But I must even warn everyone here (of all places).... it's pretty bad! Credits note that film was made on a dare in less than 8 weeks. Can't remember the budget it listed, but I'd venture to say <$200. That'll give you an idea of what to expect.

you may also want to check out Goth....i think i may have rented this on a dare...read the one star reviews....rent this & ROTFLYAO. i ponder if the 3 star reviews are by people IN the movie...i mean, it's SOOOOO bad

Sounds pretty bad, but the reviews that gave it 3 stars do sound like they might click with me as well. I'll try it out. I put it at the top of my queue, and I'll let you know what I think ;)

If you like it....the studio that it's by put out a slew of movies some time back...i forget the name of the studio but Hollywood always carried their full...um.."line" if you could call it that.
if you like one you'll like them all...and i saw a bunch of them.
Hollywood used to carry all kinds of stuff. There aren't any where i live anymore. idk if that's everywhere or what. i loved going there to browse for schlock horror vhs......*sigh*

Here's my review of Goth:

Considering I've been watching and enjoying BAD B-Horror for nearly my whole life, I speak on behalf of people that actually enjoy those types of movies. If you're looking for high production, look elsewhere. This is bottom of the barrel! The acting is bad. The quality isn't great. The sets and lighting is questionable in some scenes. The direction is probably the most lame attempt in this whole movie. In fact, the best thing is the cameo spot for a live song by a horrible Techno-Goth band at the beginning. Basically, a young couple move to a new city. They decide to go to a Goth nightclub to meet some new friends that share their interests. They meet a girl named Goth who offers to give them a free "taste" of a new drug called White Light, which makes you feel like you're having an out-of-body experience. During their unconscious high, they are put into the back of Goth's van. She takes them on a city-wide journey to train them to be "real" goths. She subjects them to rape, forced voyeur sex with a fat prostitute, and murder in an attempt to recruit them to her "real" goth lifestyle. I gotta give it a little praise for being fairly original at some of the things they do in the movie. But it's just so bad. The main character can't seem to make up her mind whether of not she likes what Goth is doing. My boyfriend made it through 10 minutes. As a seasoned B-Horror fan, I made it all the way through, but only because it was recommended in a discussion about the worst Horror movies ever made. That being said, this is a great candidate and I don't think I would have watched the whole thing if there weren't someone waiting to hear my opinion on it. A serious Horror movie without a serious budget usually don't mix. In my opinion, low budget must include humor to help compensate for it's low production quality. 2.5/5 3.16.09

you certainly went into this movie with an open mind.

some of the movies on my list were good kinda bad, i just noticed 2mc started a thread on slashers, you would definitely like that...
i'll go look at your review, you at least deserve a helpful after all that!
