Hi All... I've been MIA for a bit... but I just watched this thought provoking film called The Magdalene Sisters, have any of you seen it? It's based on a true story so it is heart breaking.

I have to look into whether Netflix carries it.

BTW, Richie is a good friend of mine, in case you're wondering what's with the quirky comments.... we've known each other for a while and we have lots of inside jokes between us. LOL

Speaking about short films... Richie likes them!

i'll give it a whirl... another foreign film you might enjoy is called "Most" (it won several awards, too)... it is a short film.

Christian, are you into foreign films??? If you are check out Adam's Apples, a movie written and directed by Anders Thomas Jensen. I started a discussion thread on his work in the Foreign Film group. He is in the dark comedy genre, but he has keen insights about human emotion and struggles. Adam's Apples is a rough movie on the surface, but when you really think about what Jensen is saying about true spirituality.... it is profound.
