Hi fellow Fans of the King (Stephen)! I'm stoked to see a group just for us. I've been reading King's work for over 20 years now - yeah, I'm old - and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I'd have to say my favorite book is The Eyes of the Dragon and my favorite movie is Pet Sematary, but I love so much of his work that it's really, really hard for me to pick just one book or movie.

Just saying hey to all fans. I started reading his books at the age of 13 and am obsessed with his work, books and movies. Because of him I have always wanted to live in or at least visit Maine. Maybe one day soon....

I can remember longing for the day when my mother would let me start reading the stephen king books on her shelf. I used to read the backs of them and stare at the cover art (my 2 first reads were The Dead Zone and Firestarter) and Cujo was my first SK movie experience.

I starting reading SK as a child and have read almost everything he has ever written. He is a genious.
A few books of his that would make good movies are Lisey's Story and the Dark Tower Series.

I adore his books... Stand by me and Shawshank Redemption were great. I just feel that when his books are transferred onto screen (aside from the Shining) they lose the thrill

I have loved Stephen King since I was maybe 14 or 15. This site is great. I hope I am able to learn a lot more about him here.
