Korean Movies, anyone?

I'm new to Korean movies, and I'm looking for some recommendations - what have you seen that you liked? Are there any directors to be on the lookout for?

I would recommend pretty much anything by either. I also have a list of movies Made in Korea if that's any help.; ▶ Reply to This

Comedy- Sex is Zero, My Wife is A Gangster 2
Romance Drama- Christmas in August, Oasis
Military Drama- Tae Guk Gi, Joint Security Area
Crime Thriller- Memories of Murder
Adventure Horror- The Host

Permalink Reply by JP on October 30, 2008 at 10:33pm: Definitely a must see director is Chan Wook Park. Especially his "Vengeance" trilogy: Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, and Lady Vengeance.
