This is a completely insane movie, plain and simple. It is a hidden gem amongst Jet Li's large film catalog.
Most people would recognize portions of the movie through their immortality in numerous YouTube videos throughout the years. Stuff like Jet Li fighting a guy who shoots super-heated sand out of his sleeves or sending a log through a guy's chest.
The movie is available both by itself and paired with another Li film. It was the first part of a planned trilogy that will probably never come to be.
If you like kung-fu and think that you have seen it all, rent this forgotten film and see how wrong you are.
