Primer (2004)

Very realistic science fiction movie that explores time travel and the paradoxes that can occur. Confusing plot with hard-to-understand scientific talk, but it's one of those movies you want to watch several times to understand, a la Usual Suspects style. After a couple of watches and some serious thought, you realize just how smart it is. Small budget film, but great stuff. Highly recommended!

Great movie. One of my favorites. Just came on cable again so DVR'd it to watch again. It is certainly complicated with the multiple timelines that you can't fully understand until the movie ends. Those confused (like my wife was even after I tried to explain all of the twists) should check out "http://www.freeweb.hu/neuwanstein/primer_timeline.html" It does a decent job of showing the timelines and how they connect.
