The Ward wasn't anything to get very excited about, unfortunately.  It's nothing you haven't seen done before, but it is better than most of the more recent Carpenter "horror".

I'm interested in the DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK remake mostly cuz i love the orig.

and yes, youre correct Deaf Ears--  DEEP RED is the king.

I'm a HUGE J.C. fan, but The Ward does look like a Sucker Punch meets The Devil's Backbone type-o ghost story that won't help how fallen from grace he's gotten. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark looks like promising FUN though if they'd stop bumping the damn release date back. Always on a look out for good new horror stuff though : )

Can't wait for John Carpenter's "The Ward", and Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

Been watching a lot of giallo, some good 'uns but still nothing as good as the king, DEEP RED.

Wow, has it really been almost a year since a comment on here. . . Pick it up horror fans. I know its been a crappy decade for the genre, but there's GOTTA be something to talk about ; )
