For those of you that don't know, autoFlix is an app that when installed, will autoPlay the next episode in a series when an episode finishes.
I've been hard at work making autoFlix compatible with all computers and resolutions.
Since I have a limited amount of machines to test on, I'd like to start a thread where users can post if autoFlix isn't working, then upload a screenshot of their Netflix screen(with the "Play next episode" button showing) with their resolution.
You can also post if it is working with the default options.
I appreciate anyone who takes the time to do this, and hopefully it will lead to a better Netflix experience for everyone.

I think I know the issue here. autoFlix works with multiple monitors, it just doesn't check the whole second monitor if its a different resolution.
Maybe it would be a good idea to allow the user to select which monitor to use as their primary, or even better just detect which monitor the window it on.
I'll look into this!

Something I've noticed is when a series hits the final episode of a season it won't begin the next season. I suspect that's because the button is different so the bitmap is not the same?? Addressing that would be great.
Are ya planing to add a custom playlist-queue? Something we can simply paste in a series of URL's for different/specific videos or episodes? I would love to be able to do this. Need not be complicated just a simple list of URL's (just copy the link address of the play list and paste it into either a text file or some sort of thing internal to your app). I am betting it might be easier to create and manage the list in say, Notepad then point Autoflix at that file. Then your app could just parse down the list whenever it detects the window reaches the end of the movie/episode...I know that's the tough part, detecting when one show ends.
But really super works and I use it all the time now, thanks...oh, it took me a while to learn the size of the custom bitmap for the button matters so you need a button capture of each size you like for watching videos. I wrote a fast & dirty thing to swap my files if I know I am going to run fill screen or windowed so that is covered for me, a note to others this small app is specific to my system and would not work for you. It's a simple "batch file" so anyone can build it.

I was going to look at the code and see if I might be able to help with more coherent suggestions or even some sample code for a few things I am sure the project can use. I know everyone's time is tight these days so even just seeing the code might have helped advance what now seems to be a totally stalled or abandon app. Why are the source files not listed on the project's repository?
Or are ya just on "summer break"... ;) I miss those days of decades past when summer was for recharging the batteries. :D
Even if using some non-open source libs the primary source should be there, for user peace of mind if no other reason. To be candid, I am now somewhat less comfortable with using this utility given this level of obfuscation. Just an oversight? Or more likely I just did not find the download. Even the "read only for non-members of the project" shows nothing at all.
Permalink Reply by JasonStallings on September 20, 2011 at 5:47pm Hey Joe, sorry for the delayed reply.
I actually just finished a big project at my job, left my job, and moved. So I have a lot more time to work on my projects now.
I'm going to try to get a new version out today...
So stay tuned!!
(summer break starts now)

Permalink Reply by SalvateraDesign on October 1, 2011 at 12:47pm How about Auto play to the next episode... it be nice if they can add a play all episodes so it automatically goes to the next episode in the series...
