Question by Member: "tina" (posted  in comments):

When I first joined I had no problem watching movies on my flat screen with a hdmi to my computer. For some reason I can only hear the movie and get no picture. Is there some change I may have inadvertently made on my computer or tv that would have created his problem?

i have sound i have no picture on my tv
OK. I edited the discussion header. Here's an idea that just came to me: Are all the plugs that connect screen to computer inserted correctly?
YES.
Erhm, I'd make sure that your graphics card is set to output to the TV and in the right format (whatever your TV has). It's strange, though, that the sound is output correctly... So this is just a guess.
o.k. thanks

"Yep. Good one. Must say Keaton's plots all seem almost incidental. He could walk from movie into another without much continuity work. ha"

"The Goat (1921)Not one of the most cohesive plots but has a lot of funny gags and a few iconic Keaton moments like the one at 8'46". I don't quite understand the relevance of the title unless it's short for scapegoat. ★★★★☆ "
