Netflix Movie Fans

I recently purchased a samsung bd-p1590 and have just started trying to stream movies through netflix instant play. Unfortunatley however, I have recently had a lot of problems with the movies freezing mid-play. Does anyone have any suggestions on potential fixes for this problem? I performed a firmware upgrade when first plugging the device.

A new version of firmware was released today! Hopefully they have the Netflix issue resolved.. time will tell.. I urge everyone to report back if the new firmware fixes the issue..
I called Netflix customer support to ask if they knew about the issue with the freezing issue, particularily with the 1590's and the 1600's A real nice fellow answered that totally knew about the issue.. In fact, he himself had owned a 1600, which he had returned for the freezing issue..
I got an update for my BD-P1590 to firmware version 2.08, dated 3/19/10 today (3/25). I updated my player and Netflix would not work! I had to reset the player by turning it on and holding down the fast forward button (two arrows pointing right with a vertical line), and then re-register it with Netflix, then it worked.

We will see if the freezing problem is now gone! Hope springs eternal...
Mine is in the midst of verifying the update. Crossing my fingers on this one.
Auto updated to firmware 2.07.
After agreeing to the multipage policies, it went directly to my Instant Viewing queue. I did not have to re-register. Let's see what happens after playing a few episodes of "Ballykissangel" I plan to let the first episode go without touching any buttons, then for the episodes after, I'll try some rev/FF/pause.
Hoping this is the majic we all hoped for!
Ran an entire episode, used Pause, Rev, and FF liberally, no problems, then immediately went to the next episode. So far, flawless since the upgrade to 2.07.
Crossing fingers and toes that it works as well with long movies.
2.08 right? I got the update installed .. I didnt have to re-initialize with netflix or anything.. but it did reset a few settings -
HCMI CEC was turned back on, Video aspect ratio was changed to default 16:9 normal from 16:9 wide, clock and timezone were reset.. All minor things to correct..

Playback so far has been good.. I am on a second movie playback. I will definitely have a good idea by tomorrow if the lockups are still happening.. I seemed to have an easier time re-creating the issue than others..
2.07...I checked online at MySamsung support, as well as open tray/Info.
hmm thats interesting.. Do you have a 1590 or 1600? I am using the 1590's and the version is BEv2.08_100319a_xaa

I also see 2.08 for these two models from the samsung site - http://www.samsung.com/us/support/search/supportSearchModelResult.d...
3600. perhaps that is why....
Yup, 2.08 for some models, 2.07 for others.
I didnt know the 3600 had this issue. I thought it was specific to the 1590 and 1600 models..

Anyway so far I have not had a single issue.. I have had the player streaming all afternoon.. Its lookin good!
