Received a streaming error message and looking for help on how to fix it? Before you start a new thread, please take a look at the Error codes and solutions - List for links to threads with solutions to common errors. If the error is not listed, then please start a new thread.
Here's a link for all the threads that a solution has been found.
When starting a thread, please add helpful tags too. This helps others to find the answers that they're looking for. [If not sure what tags to add, then just leave it blank and one of the admins will do it.]

I have streaming along with receiving movies by DVD. Some of the streaming movies are unwatchable because they just freeze. My Samsung player is fairly new and my cable service just updated. What is the reason for the freezing, and is it fixable? Thanks.Continue

OK, so I saw the post on freezing with Samsung BD players but thought this might be a bit different being a Sony TV. Don't want to hijack a post on my maiden flight :)Standard netflix streaming works great, HD stinks during prime time. Works fine after about 10:00 PM. HD streaming anytime before 10:00 PM will pause every 5 minutes or so while the stream downloads.I have a Sony Bravia XBR9 bought xmas 2009ATT Uverse internet speedtest.net clocks me at 5.9 down / 1.2 upThe TV is connected to my…Continue

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I last popped in here. How are you all doing?I'm currently on the HTC EVO 3D, and I'm noticing that the download of the front app takes precedence over the actual playing of a title. This, for me, is slowing down playback. Are you using the app on your phone and experiencing this issue too? Also, why do we need all those pictures necessary to be downloaded each time loading up the app?I brought this issue to a Netflix rep and he agreed with me that it is…Continue

Recently purchased a recently released wifi capable Sony BDP-S570 Blu-ray player, which has wifi and Netflix. I thought this would make our Roku redundant. But so far, Netflix playback is terrible. I have the latest firmware and my network and internet connections are very fast. And playback on the Roku always was and still is nearly flawless. The Sony will buffer and load endlessly and I'll switch to the same movie on the Roku and it will play fine. They are sitting right next to one…Continue

Hello new to the forums, wondering if anyone else on a Sony device has had similar problems. I bought a Sony BDP-470 in 2010 which seems to always have streaming issues. Some times it's decent other times beyond frustrating to watch anything. After numerous calls and frustration some time last year, I was told there was an issue with the Sony back end server as this device goes to Sony first then Netflix.Starting a couple weeks ago, no mater what I stream it stops usually about 15 - 20 minutes…Continue

Hi Move Fans, this is my first post here.I've been watching Netflix.ca for about 19 months now on my Samsung Blu-Ray player. The quality and reliability has been really great. Content a bit lacking in Canada compared to U.S. of course, but there's enough to keep up interest, and if necessary I can always connect the laptop instead and watch Netflix.com if there's anything I really want to see from the U.S. site. But a few of the quirks in the Netflix client on the Samsung Blu-Ray player have…Continue

For those of you that don't know, autoFlix is an app that when installed, will autoPlay the next episode in a series when an episode finishes. I've been hard at work making autoFlix compatible with all computers and resolutions. Since I have a limited amount of machines to test on, I'd like to start a thread where users can post if autoFlix isn't working, then upload a screenshot of their Netflix screen(with the "Play next episode" button showing) with their resolution. You can also post if it…Continue

This may solve the Error Code 8352 and maybe other BLACK SCREEN problems. In my first blog I was still stumbling in the dark. Now at least I’m feeling my way around. It appears that the problem starts with an interruption stream of the movie that isn’t being cleared on the Netflix end. You are allowed six DEVICES to view movies on. If whatever it is that clears the stream doesn’t work right a new device is started. It could just be another instance of the same PC or other device. At any rate,…Continue
