This is from a post on Hacking Netflix:
Some users are reporting problems with Netflix streaming on the PS3, and NetflixHelps on Twitter is telling customers to make sure that 720p is selected in the PS3 settings. The menus on the PS3 can be confusing, so here are detailed instructions on how to make sure that 720p is set on the PS3:

1. Select "Settings."
2. Select "Display Settings."
3. Select "Video Output Settings."
4. Confirm your connection type.
5. Select "Custom" setting method.
6. Make sure that 720p is selected.

The resolution setting screen looks like this:

I am always quick to recommend @netflixhelps. Twitter may seem useless to uninformed people, but it's the greatest app on my computer. I can keep in contact with people just as easy as email, and for once, I get responses.

Netflix Helps is always quick to do just that. I applaud the guys who run that Twitter, because they probably have to respond to a lot of angry people in a days time. It's hard to always come across as polite within only 140 characters though.
