Permalink Reply by eviltimes on April 24, 2009 at 6:48am: When I called CS for some data, they did say the "Friends" section was being worked on. Otherwise, that's all I know. The mighty crash of talltale and Rosy should be a wake up call that the algorithm is seriously off!

She cannot figure out what all the ranking bounce is about, and looks forward to wiser souls explaining the new algorithm to her. Permalink Reply by Robowriter on April 27, 2009 at 6:07am: mabell just told me he'd gone from 1400-ish to 35,000-ish and I just noticed I've gone from 7 to 13 (as of this moment, end-of-day mileage may vary). punisher in another thread said friend/fave clicks are being devalued but I suspect there's more to it than that. Personally I'd approve if they mainly counted number of reviews and queues/viewings from queues/lists/reviews (but votes should count in some manner to distinguish the effort involved in, say, the Professor's reviews from lesser ones).

Wowwee and EvilT, this list information from last Wednesday, 4/22/09, seven days ago, shows Larry Maryland as having 1152 F&Fs, yet if one follows the link to that profile, it shows zero F&F! Did it show 1152 on the 22nd? Could this be another glitch/bump? Or do you think it's more likely that he/she's set his/her account to Private in the last week?

I like the format for these updates. Good info.

The format is from Eviltimes and it looks like that this is the format that we'll continue to use for the future.
