OK, who gets drunk and hurls dynamite at trees?!
Is that guy DeGroot or Goodspeed? Who is his son, if it is his son ( kinda dodgy that woman Amy creeping around in the jungle with her then husband )
Was she the woman in the car when DeGroot/Goodspeed found Ben's Dad carrying Ben's dying Mom in Portland?
I think James LeFleur should forget about Kate and stick with Juliet ( she grinds the metal frame of vans! ) -

No, that woman with Horace in the previous ep was played by Samantha Mathis. Was she not his wife? Lostpedia lists her as Olivia Godspeed. She was also a Dharma school teacher. I wonder what happened to her that he's now with this new chic Amy. Curious.

Well it is earlier in time, so maybe they break up and Goodspeed hooks up with this Olivia woman.

Somebody on another bboard said that they showed what appeared to be the back of the four toed statue in this episode!?!? Anybody see anything like that? Cause I sure didn't notice it.

Yeah, I got the guy on that bboard to explain it to me. He even posted me a pic!
I must have looked away for a second and missed the statue. Looks like the jackal headed Egyptian god of the afterlife, Anubis, to me. Appears to even be holding the same symbol in each hand as the dead Dharma guys necklace. Which I believe is the symbol of Anubis. -

my biggest thing is the losties are there before ben & his dad get to the island. so what do they do WHEN he gets there?

although i'm a big sawyer & kate fan it was "nice" to see sawyer happy, appreciated, in love in stead of always being the black sheep.
what happens when miles meets dr. marvin candle if he' really is his dad?
and what/ when does the 'all babies die on the island thing" happen? or has it sort of started since goodspeed said "all moms go to the mainland in the submarine for birth"
where are the losties gonna be when adult ben comes & gasses all of them w/ the hostiles?
and great point - when is annie gonna show up & who's mommy * daddy? -

Okay, wow...you guys pay way more attention than I do,lol.
The Ankh heiroglyph means eternal life, what struck me about it was the fact that in an old game we used to play in High School the Ankh was used to travel from place to place and....time to time. (Can't remember the name of the game, it's buried in a haze of bong smoke.. from then, not now.)
