"A Raisin in the Sun"

I love the play and the movie...but I love the poem that the title is based on best...because i love LH!

Dream Deferred

What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
Like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?

Langston Hughes
Let's keep them easy to start

Ray, Jaime Foxx Rocked that Role...
He so did and he played piano himself!!!

You are correct! Go ahead!!

Over at the Roundup...we follow the Davy Crockett rule:

Be always sure you are right - then go ahead.

So if you know....go for it! I hate delaying others' instant gratification!

is this idewild? (spell check)
Cadillac Records... Wonderful movie. Got to the point, told the story well, great actors and great music. Loved it!

"I've seen nine of them I think. 1-6, 8-9 and 14. I may have seen more, but I don't recognize the titles. A lot of spaghetti westerns are dated, but so are many other movies from that period, irrespective of genre."

" Glad to see the whole thing streaming. Watching the sixth (my favorite) installment now. Despite the fall off after chronicling the influential musicians of the 60s, to which Scone alluded, the series remains inspiring."

"I agree Sting & the Police were both plenty good and loads of talent.  I like Sting's The Soul Cages too, though way slower and melancholy."
