Scrapper's Corner

A place to come and disagree. The idea is to create a place where discussions about movies/television/moviemaking are for the purpose of coming together to disagree about something in an environment where offense will not be given or taken.

THE IDEA

The idea is to disagree within these discussions, but not offend or hurt. Ripping the other side a new one about the subject doesn't mean commenting on the individuals intelligence or family practices and lineage. If there is a place where you can cut loose and express your own point or counterpoint, and not offend, it's here. Have a good argument and part on good terms. Most likely neither party will prevail, but sometimes it's just fun to hash it out. No class "A" four letter swearing, and use common sense. If the other party is on the matt.....BACK OFF.

"I love the ringtone on those two films.  But I can't watch them anymore because they ruin my happy memories, especially Our Man Flint.  You might want to try The President's Analyst. "

"Like Baff was saying, the N600 is a little pricier than the next Netgear machine down the pricing ladder.  You may not need it's more powerful transmission radius, for example.  But I was in a spending mood that day and was so fed up…"

"Yes, I read the reviews at Amazon too when looking to buy new stuff.   By and large it's a good resource to have for a second opinion.  Thanks."

"Our Man Flint--James Coburn stars in this parody of a James Bond-like film.  Pretty lame film really, but I did enjoy a few set pieces that looked sort of surreal in a Barbarella/Logan's Run  way. "
