Big Voyager fan so I can't fault you Just Gus on your doctors pick. But this is one where I have to go with Beverly Crusher as fave Dr. and Bashir as least fave. Captains pick is a bit tougher since I like them all, but I will go with Janeway as fave Captain, and Shatner as least fave. Engineers is a ver tough choice considering I have multiple fave and least faves. Faves would be in this order Trip, Belanna, Jordie, least faves would have to be a tie between O'Brien, and Scotty. First Officer fave would be Chakotay, with least fave being without a single doubt Ryker. Any other Star Trek characters you would love to compare
I do like Bev a great deal....she is a major crush for me. But The Doctor from Voyager is a go-to doctor for me....he is so many doctors in one! He also has an interesting story arc. Bev's story arc was ....maybe she'll end up with Picard....and we all knew if that ever happened the NG would have jumped the shark! (It already had jump the shark potential with that darn Wesley!)
I'm glad we agree on Riker....I personally feel the mimbo first officer should have been courtmartialed for his actions in the episode, The Game. His zipper problems almost cost the Federation....the Federation. And Wesley saves the s the Federation in the episode! Another reason to hate the episode!
"Chances are, it was the Millicent and Therese segment of the 1975 TV movie, Trilogy of Terror. Karen Black plays both parts. One a prudish brunette, the other a fun loving blonde.
The segment is on YouTube in two parts.…"
"I've read Kip Thorne's book. Slicing spinning wormholes in half like a bagel and towing one half across the galaxy to where you want to go would take energy he kind of cheats on getting - but in SF you are allowed to postulate one…"
"The Outfit: I caught it the other night on TCM and thought it was still a good movie, sort of felt it might have influence Tarantino in his crime phase. The ending was a little bit cliched with the happy ending humor, but I could…"
"Warner has set up a sweet operation, that while it's not cheap - isn't overpriced either. Warner Archive has out of print titles that you can digitally download for around $10 or they will burn you a DVD with full case and liner for less…"
"Q is one of the funny ones. For a complete rundown - full spoilers - go here.
You know, 26 of them - I didn't take notes. My copy *ahem* does not have subtitles and most of the films are not in English; although except for G (which I…"
