Permalink Reply by Scone on June 14, 2012 at 8:25am I'm looking forward to going to tomorrow night's game - the NYY first visit to DC. Both teams are now red hot. The Yanks now have the best record in the AL and the Nats have a better record than the Yanks.
It should be a fun evening of baseball.
Permalink Reply by Ando on June 17, 2012 at 12:33pm I caught Saturday's game on a Yes Network replay. Pettitte was taken out too soon, I thought. That move, more than anything else, led to the extra innings. More finesse than heat in the 7th inning but he's still has the stuff to go all the way - at least past the 8th - in a tight game. Today's game's a better played one, overall (2-1, Yanks as I type this).
A whole fucking week goes by since the L.A. Kings won the Stanley Cup.
Not a word, not a syllable, is uttered about it on this site.
Goddamn commies.
P.S. The Kings even celebrated at Dodger Stadium.
Permalink Reply by Ando on June 18, 2012 at 10:33am Good God. And I posted the damn comment for you.
I can't be expected to read every-fucking-thing.
The entire World is still in dumbstruck awe at the almost Supreme Being hockey playing abilities of the mighty Kings.
What, are you high? They get lucky once in 75 years and anybody is impressed? Shoot, every other team's players are trying to decide if blowing their brains out due to the ludicrous state of professional hockey is an honorable option.
I advise seppuku. Or lacrosse.

The Washington Capitals have made the playoffs 23 times in 29 seasons. That’s the good news. Now here’s the bad news: The Caps are the most underachieving, unlucky team in the history of North American sports. Name a team that has failed to live up to its seeding in the playoffs more often than the Caps. You can’t.
No team has more often lost as the higher seed (at least 10 times), lost more two-game series leads (seven), lost more three or four overtime playoff games (four) or lost more Game 7s (seven) than the Caps.
At least you assholes get into the playoffs.
Before the 2012 Orgasm the Kings won one -- just one -- playoff series in all the time since they were last in the Cup finals in 1993. In those nineteen years they only made it to the post-season four times.
You did a good job in that Boston series. And you did yourselves proud against the Rangers.
